Before you start

Before you start using the application for the first time, please make sure that:

  1. the device is connected to the Internet with a stable, fast connection;
  2. the device is connected to an electrical power source;
  3. you have at least 5 GB of available disk space;
  4. you have your credentials to log in.

How to solve some common problems

General questions

Download time depends on the speed and stability of the Internet connection. Generally speaking, the download takes a few hours.

  • Yes, Salvagnini BOX shuts down if you turn off your computer.
  • Once you log in to Salvagnini BOX for the first time, you remain logged in unless you log out.
  • Press the central button and return to the home screen.
  • Alternatively, double press the central button and drag the Salvagnini Box window upwards.
  • Hit the “X” button on the upper right corner.
  • Alternately, you can use Alt+F4 as a shortcut.
  • The search icon resembles a magnifying glass. It's located in the right-hand corner of the title bar, hit it.
  • To find all content associated with a particular word or phrase, type it into the search box.
  • The more specific the search key is, the more precise the result will be.
  • Salvagnini BOX works like any other application. In both Microsoft's store and Apple's store, new versions are listed as upgradeable applications as soon as they're available.
  • You can also activate the automatic update of Salvagnini BOX directly from the store.
  • The update can be preceded by a notification from Salvagnini BOX admins.

In the menu, whenever Salvagnini BOX needs to be updated, a red dot will appear near the "Update" button.

  • Salvagnini BOX will automatically check the content to be downloaded.
  • Click "Start update" to begin the update, then let Salvagnini BOX run until it has completed.

  • If you are using a personal account, retrieve your password with the procedures proposed by the stores.
